Flamingo Class Information

We are the Flamingos Class. There are 25 of us in total. Our Teacher is Miss Afton and the LSA that helps us is Miss Mohamed. The Flamingos are a fantastic class. We are caring and love to look after our friends and others that are in need. We love anything messy especially the sand and glitter! We enjoy talking about the things we have been learning in class and take great pride in answering questions our friends ask us about the work we have been doing.
We are learning to write our letters correctly and have learned our number names this term. We can also tell you lots of new letter sounds too!

Mrs Afton trained in Social Psychology at Loughborough University and later did her teacher training at Chichester University and specialised in Early Years. Her passion is children’s educational development in the Early years. She likes travelling and has a particular interest in cultures from around the world.

This term we are looking at Transport and learning about different methods of travelling.
We are also learning our numbers to 100!

it can be any book of their choice.

We are also desperate for reading volunteers. If you can spare an afternoon a week reading with the children on a one to one basis let us know!
