Please encourage your child to bring in their book bags at least twice a week. Reading for ten minutes each night will help your child progress in their reading levels. Make it fun! They can read anything you think is appropriate; the TV guide, cereal boxes, cooking instructions....anything! Just remember to ask your child a question about what they have read and or ask them to explain what they have read.
Also, children need to be practising their 2,5,10,3, 4 times tables as well as their number bonds to 10, 20 and 100!
